Covid has pushed us all in new directions and some of these changes have been for the better. The Form Plastics packaging system has been one change that is improving our production in several ways. Heat sealed portions look professional, portions are controlled and product stays fresher longer. We have reduced waste, increased ordering efficiency and are serving more fruit and vegetables than ever. The two and three compartment ovenable trays have enabled us to be creative with inventory and package meals for remote distribution. The cold compartment trays are perfect for our deli items and bento boxes. Jim Howe and the Lancaster-Schert team were phenomenal with service, delivering the machines personally and setting up training. This has been well worth the investment.
